Financial Admin/Personal Assistant to CEO

About the role
Think Outside is looking for a passionate numbers guru to manage day-to-day financial operations as well as internal reporting and analysis through our rocket ship growth trajectory

Your Responsibilities

  • Liaison and bridge with our accountant and auditor; oversee invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, keep vendor records current; prepare/monitor payroll set-up for employees 

  • Manage and supervise core accounting functions and accounting books

  • Prepare financial accounts including balance sheet, P&L and cash flow forecasting 

  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing available information 

  • Prepare monthly budgets and projections 

  • Prepare reporting to CEO, Board and Investors

  • Track budgetary expenditure and conduct regular variance analysis 

  • Ensure accurate record keeping of all supporting documents 

  • Meet required filing deadlines with regulatory authorities

  • Analyze data from a wide variety of sources (Google Analytics, Facebook, etc.) to inform audience development strategies and campaign ROIs 

  • Manage and track customer and prospect communication scheduling including outreach, newsletters, and promotions


  • Passion for technology and high growth startups, and you’re perfect if you have a passion for skiing

  • 2-5 years’ experience, preferably in auditing, accounting or a finance role

  • BA or MA in accounting or finance 

  • Good if you have experience in building financial models and a strong understanding of financial statements 

  • Great focus and attention to detail, an organized personality 

  • Strong data and quantitative skills 

  • Ready to work in a start-up environment as you have an entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving mentality 

  • The position reports to CEO
